Empowering Excellence: Dikita Wins Mega-Renovation for The Black Academy of Arts and Letters
On February 28th, the Dikita Team successfully advocated before the Dallas City Council for Project Management Services for the $250M renovation of The
Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL). This historically marked the city’s most prominent program management project entrusted to an African-American-owned firm with a 80+% minority participation. The unanimous approval (15-0) is a testament to Dikita’s legacy of excellence, led by founder Lucious Williams and continued by President & CEO Eve Williams.
The Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL) is a Dallas, Texas-based performing arts institution dedicated to cultivating exceptional talent of young artists in the African American community, and producing Emmy award-winning plays, concerts, and summer programs. Founded in 1977 by Curtis King, TBAAL hosts over one hundred performances annually, including the anticipated Jazz Riverfront Festival and Summer Arts program engaging Dallas K-12 students in the theatrical arts.

Elevating Connectivity: Enhancing Dallas Fort-Worth International Parkway
Dikita/Russell, a Joint Venture with H.J. Russell, has been awarded the International Parkway Quality Assurance Inspection Services at the DFW International Airport to assure the removal of the existing left-hand exit flyover bridges to more intuitive and efficient right-hand exits for seamless access to the terminals from IP.
International Parkway, the lifeline of DFW International Airport’s landside transportation network, is at the heart of seamless travel to and from all terminals. This iconic roadway, boasting a six-lane highway, serves as more than just a connector within the state highway system – it is an integral part of the National Highway Network and the Texas Highway Freight Network.
Recognizing the critical need to upgrade and replace core pieces of International Parkway’s infrastructure, our joint venture is committed to enhancing the safety, mobility, and reliability of this vital transportation artery.
