Dikita Management Services (DMS) counted the number of passengers boarding and alighting, including timepoint data, on 100% of DCTA routes. The project involved creating a digital database of their stops for collection via handhelds, developing survey methodology, customizing a ridership software program, and collecting the data on each route at each stop. DMS used Ridecheck Plus, an RSM Services Corporation software product, to collect, analyze, and report all data. DMS was responsible for the design of the survey instrument, recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising field staff, and cleaning and reporting the data.
