Quality Control Supervisor (MEP)

SUMMARY

Dikita is seeking to fill a position for a Construction QC MEP Supervisor. The QC Supervisor will report to the Construction Project Manager and Superintendent at the job site in verification of the materials and installation of the work done in construction of higher education facilities. The MEP candidate must either live in or be willing to commute to Commerce, TX daily.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and monitor inspection of the job, before, during, and after construction, to ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality and safety specifications and standards.
  • Review and understand project technical requirements
  • Manage quality inspection personnel who perform audit, examination, inspection, surveillance, and testing activities in accordance with the project quality program.
  • Issue quality/audit reports and follow through to closure.
  • Coordinate with construction engineering to initiate timely analysis and resolution of identified discrepancies.
  • Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems in accordance with project objectives and guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure trade work completion readiness for client’s technical staff key periodic inspections throughout the project.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ten years of relevant verifiable experience, including three years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with ASNT and ASME codes and standards.
  • MEP experience.
  • Industry certifications from a recognized authority are preferred e.g., ASNT,
  • Intermediate expertise with email, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
