Stephen F. Austin State University: New Nursing Building, Chemistry Building & Student Center

The Stephen F. Austin State University, $30M Two-Year Bond Program in Nacogdoches, Texas included a new nursing building, new chemistry building; and student center HVAC upgrade.

Dikita provided ongoing Program Management services for various projects within the bond program. Services included budgeting and scheduling tasks at program and project levels; planning and program development; facility assessment; user group(s) mobilization and needs assessment; architectural, engineering and design consultant services scope articulation and RFQ review and evaluation; quality control; project documents review; construction manager scope articulation and RFP review and evaluation; project meetings, reporting and presentations; and Owner’s representation. In this role, Dikita also observed and reported any deficiencies in construction methods or non-compliant installations to the project team (Owner, AE, and GC) to mitigate costly re-work and increase efficiency.
