Science and Technology Building – The new $15.8M project consisted of a 3-story, 47,000 SF facility with cryogenic laboratories, staff and faculty offices, classrooms, and a lecture auditorium. The building exterior consisted of concrete structure with masonry and pre-cast veneer.  Dikita served as Program Manager.  The firm’s responsibilities included reviewing A/E proposals and making recommendations during the selection process, overseeing development of design drawings and specifications by assigned A/E firms, maintaining budgets and schedules, providing Quality Assurance functions during design and construction, and executing project close-out. 
 
Multipurpose and Library Building – This $250M project consisted of a 3-story, 105,000 SF facility housing staff offices, libraries, and multi-purpose rooms. The Multi-Purpose Library Building and Central Plant included structural concrete foundation, concrete structure, exterior and interior finishes, HVAC, plumbing and electrical, telecommunications, security, fire protection and alarm systems, site development, grading and utility tie-ins to University provided utilities.  Dikita managed the Pre-Construction Phase of these projects and provided construction administration (CA) services. In this role, we observed and reported any deficiencies in construction methods or non-compliant installations to the project team (Owner, AE, and GC) as soon as possible to mitigate costly re-work and increase efficiency.
