RTS 2023 Origin-Destination Survey

The Rochester, NY Regional Transit Service (RTS) sought a thorough rider origin and destination study to examine the travel patterns of their transit riders and assess the success of their network redesign implementation.

For this project, Dikita introduced their proprietary and newly launched innovative software, Transit Xperience Intelligence (TXI), to design and execute the surveys which allowed for mobile – digital survey collection and provided real-time validated results.

Dikita successfully gathered 4,350 statistically valid surveys from passengers on board, ensuring a 95% confidence level with a margin of error of +/- 5% at the system level. Dikita thoroughly analyzed the collected data and provided RTS with our comprehensive findings and recommendations.
